PINK! PARTY

MOTOROLA

Tokyo: MOTORAZR, together with DoCoMo Japan launched their latest phone in a football-pitch sized transparent pink marquee built by RSP in the carpark of the spectacularly lit historic Tsukiji Hongwanji Temple.

Hot Pink

With Pink the brands hero colour due to the recent success of a pink handset, the Hongwanji Temple was lit to great dramatic effect by the RSP team in pay-attention-to-me pink.

Inside, and in trademark RSP style food and beverage was on-theme with pink MOTORAZR cocktails and canapés from award-winning chef Stephane Foucher. Fresh sashimi carved all night long from a whole six-foot tuna by top sashimi chefs also met the colour criteria.

All Night Entertainment

All night entertainment kept the energy high with buskers, stilt walkers, and other interactive artists setting a whimsical tone for the evening. Before the traditional “Kagamiwari” (breaking of ceremonial sake barrels, speeches and toasts) dancers focussed the crowds’ attention. British soprano Joanne Pullen began her gutsy performance during a dramatic entrance made from the ceiling before DJ Kulu rocked the crowd.

“More than anything else, MOTORAZR is about memorable experiences all delivered with style, elegance, and a deep sense of fun. Tonight is a taste of what we mean by that, and of what it is like to own and enjoy MOTORAZR in Japan.” Michael Tatelman, Motorola corporate vice president and general manager, North Asia.
