ART DE CARTIER 2006

CARTIER

Singapore: Working with directly with Monique xxx from the Cartier Archive in Geneva, RSP designed and produced the eight week long Art De Cartier exhibition within the Singapore National Museum.

Curating Beauty

Organising both the space and the collection to accentuate the beauty of the Cartier pieces and the experience of a guest walking through the exhibition to learn their stories in a way that gave context was a joy for RSP. With spatial creative freedom limited only by the external walls, and with an accommodating museum RSP was able to recreate the brick finish on false walls to architect the visitor journey through the collection.

Original design drawings of the jewels were utilised giving great context to the individual histories of each

Original design drawings of the jewels were utilised, alongside photographs of the pieces and their owners gave great context to the individual histories of each resulting in long visitor stays within the exhibition.

And then there was the Party…

Attended by gem loving Singaporeans the cocktail party preceding the Exhibition opening was both elegant and aspirational. Of course, with the priceless value of the jewels and objects d’arte on exhibit and the jewels worn by guests, attentive measure was accorded for the security of the collection.
